Why ‘Russty Delights’?
I was ChatGPT-ing interesting puns with my nickname “Russty” (other nicknames include Russ/Siew/Siewmai) for the website’s name. Eventually thought of ‘Russty Delights’ because I love food and “XX Delights” sounds like a foodie place.
More importantly though, the word ‘delight’ is something that I yearn for: to delight in the Lord, and to experience joy in Him. I grew up with a really negative outlook, and now, in this new life I have in Him, my hope (both in life and through the content I choose to share) is to bring myself and others to delight in the Lord.
Delight appears so much in the book of Psalms, and aptly, I think my love for the book increased after my time in TLBS.
